Verizon Wireless Complaint

Awful Verizon %u201Ccertified%u201D pre-owned experience - Nokia Lumia 928
To make a long story short I have wasted multiple hours of my life over the last week. Between calling Verizon%u2019s %u201Ccustomer service%u201D and making trips to a corporate office for assistance with my phone issues.
I ordered a certified preowned Nokia Lumia 928. When I received my phone I followed the steps to activate it and the activation processes would not take because the phone would not read the SIM card. Over the next several days I talked to many Verizon support staff and they could not resolve the issues. They gave me the run around, transferring me from one person to another putting me on hold for 15-20 minutes each time. Each individual I talked to had a different excuse for why the phone would not work. Six days after I received the phone, on my third trip to the corporate office, they came to the conclusion the issue was indeed the device. Right from the beginning Verizon sent me a defective device. Did they do anything to right their wrong? Absolutely not. I was told Verizon did not have another certified preowned like the device I had purchased so I returned the phone for a refund. After all of that time and stress all I got was my money back. I am very displeased with Verizon and their %u201Cservice%u201D. I had planned to switch from T mobile but not anymore. Their coverage may not be as good as Verizon but their customer service is excellent. Any issues I%u2019ve ever had have been resolved immediately.
