verizon almost scammed me


i went to one of their stores in my home town because i needed 3 new phones. 2 were broken and i needed a new one for my daughter. well they told me if i had 3 lines that would be 399.99 for each phone but since i didn't have the 2 year contract they would have to add another extra line i didn't even need. but in reality i actually do have a 2 year contract and i have ever since i started being a costumer when i bought the 2 phones i currently have now. but anyway, the main reason i almost got scammed was because they added the extra line which would have costed an extra 600 dollars. so what basiclly happened was they lied and said the extra line was required. im sorry verizon employes but that was just low.
