Seeking Assistance - Verizon wireless


I have been a customer of Verizon Wireless since 2009. I have 5 lines with Verizon.

I was recently on vacation when my Samsung Galaxy S5 bricked. I came back and went to the Verizon Wireless store located at 27835 Wesley Chapel Blvd, Ste 100, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544, on July 6th to see what could be done. Since I had an upgrade coming up on July 28th, I was hoping that Verizon would allow me to do an early upgrade so that I could have a phone for the upcoming week while my warranty replacement was being shipped to me.

The sales rep at the Verizon store proceeded to tell me "We have to build a business case for my manager to approve this, if you purchase $150 worth of accessories we can make this happen." I responded by saying that the business case is that I have 5 lines and have been a customer for 6 years, does that not provide a business case.

I was not asking for a year early upgrade, I was not asking for a free phone, I was asking that you Verizon allow me to upgrade 3 weeks before my due date, since they already allow a 1 week advance, that actual request was for 2 weeks.

If this is how Verizon likes to treat their loyal customers, I guess I need to rethink who I want to do business with going forward.

I will never do business with this Verizon store ever again. These guys have no clue on how to treat customers.
