  • bait and switch and unscrupulous practices

    I have been using Vertizon Wireless since the 90's and I am also a stockholder in the company. I upgraded my phone and entered into a new plan in November 2014 and when I did this at the Vertizon Store they told me that the 500 mg data plan plus 1 gig promo would continue over the two year contract. I just found out that the promo has lapsed despite what was communicated to me from the sales rep and manager.   • Verizon Wireless Final Bill Ripoff

    I cancelled service with and moved to Sprint. Verizon billing was automatically charged to my credit card. They send an email saying your bill is ready and has been charged to your credit card. Because I moved to sprint, they cancelled my account, and I can no longer see my bill. Customer support would only provide a copy of my bill so I can see the final termination charges if I paid $5. It seems ridiculous that you have to pay to see a copy of what your are being automatically charged. More...

  • Verizon Wireless Representative Lie about their services/costs

    9040 Union Cemetery Rd Cincinnati, OH 45249 Representative - Chris (didn't catch last name) Recently we had to replace a cell phone (one of four on our account), previously it had unlimited data. We were sold the 'Edge' program and told our bill would be significantly cheaper but - would have to go to limited data. What a rip-off, now we have limited data and the bill was more expensive.     I recently called Verizon customer service to have a $175 termination fee waived because I was misinformed about a phone upgrade on our family plan, let me explain. I went to a Verizon store because I had lost my phone and asked if I have an upgrade available and the support person said I don't have an upgrade available on what do you have an upgrade available on another line on your family plan.   • Verizon has bad customer service.

    2 different Verizon Wireless reps told me they owed me $130.60 they refunded me $7.71 After 10 years this is they way they thank me.  They are a very missleading company.  My recommendation is to stay away there are much cheaper plans and better customer service elsewhere. The agent clearly agrees and can see that the previous 2 agents promised the $130.60 refund but her hands are tied and I felt like she doesn't really care.  I feel that Verizon doesn't care about loyalty or good customer serviced.  A companies word is their true customer service.     I have been a customer of Verizon Wireless for over ten years. I paid my bill when due. There were some issues during the time of service but generally they could be dealt with UNTIL these last two years: because you always speak with different representatives when seeking help promises made are not always acted upon and then when speaking to another representative even acknowledged.     I have been in and out of Verizon tryong to figure out how my girlfriend could use so much data, iPhone is using more than twice the data than my Android! Not possible! So they tell me there's nothing they can do! On the other side of my madness, i somehow went over my minutes calling other Verizon customers" done with Verizon!   • No disconnect notice

    Been a Verizon customer for about 18 months. Always pay monthly bill in full, on time. The credit card I use to pay my Verizon bill had fraudulent charges on it last month. The credit card refused the Verizon payment as a result. 6 days after receiving a call from Verizon about the issue, the phone was deactivated, without any notice, even though myverizon stated that the payment wasn't due for another 4 days.     I upgraded to a Droid 3 in late September, 2011. Over the following 2 months I noted that even after I powered it off for the night it would power itself on. It wouldn't unlock for incoming calls. Since then, and over the past week and a half, Verizon has sent me three replacements, all refurbished.     On 6/27/11 I accidentally paid $14,429.00 instead of $144.29 to Verizon Wireless for a phone bill. It has been very frustrating following up the refund. To date they keep telling us the same thing which i am so dissatisfied with. The latest information is that they mailed a check via FeDex which was not delivered because no one was available to sign for it, hence the check was returned to them.     Had to get another cell phone since the "ball" on the Blackberry Curve fell out after the 2nd time, and they "no longer carry that phone." Well what do you do when you have a contract and you have to phone service or slapped with a termination they push upgrades and then your contact is extended "another 2 years. !   • Verizon is so nice it let's it's employees smoke at entrance

    I would have never expected such a big corporation to allow it's employees to smoke at the door. Today I went to pay my bill and had to walk through 3 employees smoking right next to the door- as in they had to move so I could open the door. On my way out there were 2 new smokers- which brought the grand total to 5 smokers one of which was also picking his nose. So dear verizon I've come up with a great idea. A sign on the door.   • Bad customer service

    I have been a Verizon customer for several years and I have 4 phones on my service. My cell wont hold a charge so I went 25 minutes out of my way to get a replacement battery. The "tech" told me he could have the battery shipped to my home for $30. I have never had any service done on my palm. My contract is up in one month. You would think Verizon could do better then that. Bad move verizon. I doubt very much I'll continue my relationship with Verizon. More...
