    Do not on any level use your mobile phone in Mexico. Use Yolla, it is very good nexpensive and then you do nit have to fight Verizon because they will charge you 2500% over what they pay for phone use in Mexico. They will need t bend or understand and you can not set it up for anyone else, must be done by the owner of the account only.     After several years I tried to switch my prepaid phone over to my family post paid account. Then they tell me they cancel my number in the process and I can not get it back.     I have been dealing with Verizon for 5 days .been transferred 6 different times each day trying to get this resolved. I have had an account with them for 3 years and went to upgrade my phones and they told me I had an account with Nextel in 2008 and didn't pay my bill and owed them $715.15 (which I did paid what I owed to discontinue the phone then) I told them if I owed that how did I get the account opened in the first place ... and then that was 9 years ago ..     I recently switched to Verizon from AT&T simply to try and save some money per month on my phone bill. I'm sorry I made this decision. It has been nothing less then a nightmare. The customer service is terrible, I never have service, and the sold me a bad iphone 7. When I brought them the issue with the phone a week after I got it they basically did nothing.     I have had Verizon for a few months and everything was fine, but then I paid my bill and they didn't add the money to my account then my phone gets shut off.     Horrible Service!!!! Dirty business practices. I've been a customer for 5 years. I go into store to buy new phone because mine died. I'm told they don't have any older phones, all they have is iPhone 7. They charge an absorbanant amount with no promotions or deals.   • On my 3rd replacement phone through Verizon

    Today, I went into Verizon and yet again had to get another refurbished replacement phone of the iPhone 6. I am going on my THIRD one. I am upset over the fact, that i had my 2nd phone for no more than a month before it was stuck a hard restart screen. They saw no physical or water damage and returned it and sent me a new one.     Back in January of this year. My Fiancé was not happy with his service from sprint. I convinced him to come to verizon on my plan because they would buy out his plan. So we did.     So I went to put on my Gear2 smartwatch today since I was on call and working in the yard.     I've had connectivity issues with my Verizon issues router for months and it's only gotten worse. Each time I call the wait time was so long that by the time a rep finally got on the phone I had already left the house.     Cory at Verizon in norman Oklahoma on 24th ave stated that we would get our contract with att paid off. We were told and given papers to send in for all the trade ins and rebates.   • Terrible costumer service & False representation

    Verizon rep in store stated a bunch of accessories were "included" in the phone package. After seeing the bill NONE of the items were included in any package besides the fake one that the rep made. Was told the $200 bill was for taxes only, it was all the accessories added on.     I was with Verizon for over 4 years, always paid on time and never had an issue.     About a year and some change ago, I bought an LG G4 from Verizon. The features provided initially were great. However, the phone hardly lasted me six months.     I booked a new iPhone6 with a new number for my mum. Then I realized it is cheating me. The new line is 40$ if I do not pay the phone, however if I pay the phone for each month 16$ for 2 years, the line is $20.     I have never had a problem with Verizon until now. You used to be able to walk in and they would help you with an insurance claim and you could be gone within 5 minutes; sadly that is no longer an option. Instead they set you up on an iPad to fill out information that they already have you then have to call a number and give them the same information.   • Verizon misleading cost of services.

    I am very displeased with Verizon services. My husband and I were told when I was placed on his account (he has been with them for 10 years) that our monthly fee would be around $160 for both he and I. We usually run around $180/190 which we have learned to live with. However, when purchased the insurance for $11 a month we were told our deductable would be $50.     Its sad how much i pay for data with Verizon and now if you go over they wont charge you, they will just make you slower(3G) and you will be frustrated every minute of it!     The Verizon wireless in gateway mall, Brooklyn New York is the worst. The employees Rodney and genesis Lopez are incompetent and rude.   • Verizon Wireless steeling data and bad customer service

    Verizon Wireless used to be good, but since they put a limit on data usage their service became the worst in the nation. The coverage is the same as other provider even though they claim to have more coverage. But data disappears like with no other provider. It can even be around 10-16 GB in two days!!!     I placed an order with the sales department and was asked if I would like to have it sent to me in 2 business days. I said yes and the phone has not arrived.     I live in Southern New Hampshire and I was told Verizon had good coverage so I tried there 14 day trail* to see if it was better than AT&T.     I called Verizon customer service on Tuesday 07/14 about a router that I had in my home. I was told then that I would need to buy and order a new router, so I did.     my dad got the new iphone6 as an upgrade because he doesn't have a phone on the family plan. we were helped by Cathy Van Dyke, she told us that the Edge program would be cheaper and cut our bill in half, she also had everything in writing.     Beware when Verizon offers a 100 or $150 bill credit. For the second time in four years we have fallen prey to the give it a few billing cycles to see your bill credit.     I have a 2 year contract with Verizon that still have 6 months to go. My phone lost 3 of the buttons, so I tried to get a new one. If I go to Walmart, I can get a verizon smartphone for under $50. My mother had a smartphone she was willing to give me but it is a pre-paid. Worst company ever,, we have 6 lines and we had a stand by line and we were paying $10 a month to have the line active,.when one day my hubby called in to pay his bill, it was the normal bill plus $780.00 more. Alright, I always like Verizon until now. I have been on the phone off an on with them for the last 5 days trying to port a number over. If you are looking to Port from a Post paid to pre-paid good luck. I was on hold with a "supervisor" for over an hour and 30 minutes. Putting me at a total of 6 hours with verizon. This is ridiculous. Really tempted to switch services.

I've spent at least an hour per month since April to resolve issues with verizon's billing. Each time I'm assured everything is updated, only to find the next month that it hasn't been. Each new rep I speak with seems to think the last rep was wrong in the info they gave me. There are no notes recorded about my calls.
The lastest problem with verizon has been in trying to change my plan from a family to 2 single lines. At the end of a long hold, then a long wait for them to deal with 'computer issues' they were having, I was told to hold for the automated acceptance of new terms.When that finally happened the automated voice recited a wrong phone number to me, then after I tried entering the right one terminated the call. I have now been on hold for 30 minutes waiting to resolve this issue. Maybe I should just go with a tracfone. This sucks, big time.

Verizon wireless IS the poster child representing horrible customer service. On April 1st, 2014 I went to a Verizon company store in High Point NC to upgrade my old cell phone. The agent doing the upgrade was unaware of what he was doing since he kept updating me on the process which took over 2 hours to complete. During the process he put the new phone on an installment contract for 23 months with a first months payment on the spot PLUS he debited my charge card for the entire price of my new phone. I have gone to the store inquiring about the credit was told it's out of the store hands and in corporate hands. I have called customer service about 10 times have been given 3 basic reasons what's holding up the refund. The following reasons all given by supervisors are wait 3 to 5 more business days, they are 'pushing' the process, they have created a 'tops' report whatever that is, and they 'feel' the process 'is hanging out there' I totally agree. I mentioned the upgrade happened April 1st it's now April 26th still waiting for my refund wondering if I'll ever get it. Verizon doesn't want to refund money owed customers but have no problem getting customer bills issued on time. If I ever get the refund I'll pay off the installment phone contract (no service contract was required) then drop Verizon for another carrier. It's a shame this company has lost its way with customer service.

This is a terrible company. Don't buy your phones from Verizion.I purchased a phone. Seven months later we were having problems keep it charged. I took the phone to the Store in Bixby, Oklahoma. The salesman said We had to many apps open. I explained the phone had the same number of apps it had the first day. The battery simply did not retain charge. He disdainfully said
Well it working fine now. Just give it a try. I left. The battery continued to fail.

Replacement phone. He said they would get me a phone. Takes a week. I asked
If he wanted the box back. He laughed said no I would get a used phone. I asked
Why? He said my phone was used. I said what? Your phone is not new so you get
A used phone as a replacement. This ompany's policies are terrible.

Verizon is a bad company watch out. READ all the fine prints, ask about charges of termination. Get everything in writing and go online and read their termination policy. Sometimes the sales representative doesn't tell you everything. Watch out for activation fee that is close to 60 dollars what after 3 day's as of my post you will have to pay. Up to 200 dollars after 14 day trial. A 35 dollar charge for a UPC code ripped. Basically don't rip the box. They lie to you when they say you will get a zero balance. Don't trust this company ever, this company is hungry for stupid people that think they have great service when they don't. They don't need to charge 60 dollars for activation. Also keep all your documents so you have proof that you paid these fuckers. I will never trust Verizon again. They are the lowest of the low. If you like blowing your money then this is the company for you. All you have to know is know your habits and a company will be there for you that is a whole lot cheaper. I get unlimited text, web, talk and international with Boost for 55 dollars. I get to call my friends in Canada and Mexico. I don't have problems with losing signal. I rather go to a friends house and talk to them personally then have them on phone, its just healthier. For Verizon I got 4GB of 192 dollars a month. That was suppose to be 35 a month, that extra are hidden charges.

This is the worst company any one can get in bed with. With empty promises, they will steal you blind. Stop wasting your money on Verizon, stop feeding the evil.
